Smokey Mountain CMT-ABATE Events

2nd Annual 4th of JULY RALLY and PARADE

This will be our second year that we have been given the chance to appear in the First 4th of July parade in America. The parade starts at midnight and there is no better way to bring in the 4th then this. The average attendance for the parade is in the 100,s of thousands. That is a lot of lifes that we can touch to promote motorcycle awareness. Below you will find a sechedule of events for the weekend as well as other information you will need for the event.

Member of CMT-ABATE will be on hand to anser questions and get to know eachother.

We will be at the CHANGES IN LATITUDE LOBBY BAR at the Margaritaville Hotel located in the Island in Pigeon Forge. Come enjoy talking with fellow bikers while enjoying a drink on the Little Pigeon river with live music, good food and plenty of family fun to do.

Ride to support the AMA

We are a SMRO(state Motorcycle Rights organization) yet we only deal with state issues there are also NMRO's (National motorcycle rights organization) and they need our support to. This ride is to support them. If you are not a member of the AMA we encourage you to join.

We will be riding through the foothills of the Smoky's and will end up at the Fox and Parrot Pub in Gatlinburg, this is one true English Pub, ( the beer is cold and the fish and chips are good)

We will meet in the parking lot of Flapjacks on the Parkway in Pigeon Forge at 9 am with KSU at 10am

A $10.00 donation per rider is asked.

Parade Day

We will start assembling the float around 5 pm in Gatlinburg, the parade starts at MIDNIGHT. This is our chance to show some 50,000 people that bikers lives matter. Last year there was reaction that could be heard over the noise of the crowd and after the event we received phone call at how awesome and bold the float was. The more riders we have the bolder the statement to the public we make. Call us if you want to help out with the parade.

Legislative 50/50 Ride

Our legislative ride. This year we will be meeting at the Harley Davidson parking lot in Pigeon Forge at the corner of the parkway and Wears Valley Rd. The reason we do this is to help support the efforts that we do in Nashville. To fight the issues that we fight most of the money it takes comes out of the pockets of the members of CMT-ABATE this is why we are doing events within each charter to raise funds for the efforts in Nashville.

We will be riding all the way out to Hot Springs NC with stops along the way and ending at the Hard Rock Cafe in Pigeon Forge. The cost of the ride is $20.00 registration and extra hands will be available for $5.00. This will be a 50/50 ride

Host Hotel

We were able to receive a deal at a hotel in Pigeon Forge for the event. We were able to get a room with 2 full beds that is pet friendly for 5 nights for the fair price of 279 plus tax. we blocked out 4 rooms and still have a few available please contact us ASAP if you our interested in a room at this pricing.
